Meet Dr. Matt Borer
My name is Matt Borer and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in Jacksonville, Fl. My practice is a small, boutique practice where I serve individuals, couples, and families of all ethnicities, religions, colors, and or sexual orientations or preferences. My practice is a laid back environment, free of judgement, where we can work together to figure out any problem you may be facing. Practice Areas
Being a boutique practice, I only have 25 possible appointments per week. This allows me to provide a personalized experience to all of my clients. One of the benefits to keeping things small is that all of my client's deal directly with me. This allows for a less clinical feel to therapy and fosters a good working relationship between myself and the client.
Marriage and Family Therapy
I have a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy and specialize in all relationship issues, while also working with individuals and couples
Being in a relationship with a person who is diagnosed or exhibiting symptoms of a personality disorder, specifically Narcissistic Personality Disorder can be extremely difficult. You may feel abused, gaslit, and even crazy at times. I will work with you to not only deprogram the abuse that you have been victimized with, I will also teach you how to successfully continue or leave the relationship.
Forensic Psychology
I work as an Expert Witness in court, specializing in issues surrounding high conflict divorce and personality disorders including Narcissistic Personality Disorder, and Anti-social Personality Disorder.
LGBTQ
I am experienced working with LGBTQ issues including HRT, same sex conflict resolution, and the often unique circumstances present in LGBTQ individuals and families.
